Job summary

Rimkus is seeking an electrical engineer to provide forensic consulting for insurance, legal, industrial clients. You will assess causes of electrical failures, prepare findings, and may testify. The role requires 2–10+ years of experience and a PE license, with field work and travel up to 25%.

Applicants should be proficient in MS Office and engineering design software, and capable of communicating clearly with clients and top management. A valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering required.
• P.E. license required.
• 2-10+ years of experience.
• Field experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze electrical engineering aspects within scope and budget.
• Study cause/origin of electrical defects and failures in field.
• Prepare oral and written reports; provide opinions/testimony as needed.
• Manage multiple projects and coordinate with experts to deliver client reports.
