Mountain Healthcare seeks a Registered Nurse or Paramedic to join the Forensic Custody Healthcare Team in Abingdon. You will deliver high-quality care to detainees in custody, assess urgent health needs, and work autonomously within a forensic environment.

The role involves forensic duties, collaboration with police and partner agencies, and a structured development program. Requires 3+ years post-registration experience in acute/urgent care.

Qualifikationen

• Registered Nurse or Paramedic with at least 3 years post-registration experience in an acute/urgent care setting.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment in custody healthcare.
• Willingness to work in a forensic custody setting and collaborate with police/partners.
• Registration with the appropriate UK regulatory body (NMC/HCPC).

Aufgaben

• Deliver high-quality healthcare to detainees in police custody.
• Assess fitness for detention, interview, charge and release.
• Manage acute presentations and respond to emergencies in custody.
• Provide evidence-based clinical advice to custody teams and partner agencies.
• Maintain accurate clinical and legal records and participate in forensic duties.
