Job summary

Arizona Department of Health Services is seeking an ACPTC Nurse to provide direct care to residents adjudicated as Sexually Violent Persons, upon release. You will transcribe orders, administer meds, and perform nursing duties on a rotating schedule as part of a collaborative treatment team.

The role requires an active Arizona RN license, CPR/NVCI certification, and a fingerprint clearance card. You’ll contribute to medical, dental, and behavioral health services, with opportunities for

Qualifications

• Current Arizona RN license.
• CPR and NVCI certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct psychiatric and medical nursing care to residents.
• Transcribe physician orders and administer medications.
• Perform triage duties and assist doctor in sick call with nursing input.
• Conduct wound care and routine assessments.
• Document observations and nursing interventions in resident records.
• Participate in treatment planning and team meetings.
• Provide orientation and training to new staff.
• Maintain safe clinical environment and manage supplies.
