Job summary

The HOPE Program is seeking qualified associate clinicians (AMFT, ACSW APCC) to join our forensic treatment team in California. You will conduct forensic evaluations, provide sex offender‑specific treatment, and perform case management within a multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders preferred; minimum of one year of substance abuse or CBT training.
• Experience providing treatment to adults and/or juveniles with histories of sexually abusive, DV or Substance Abuse behaviors.
• Demonstrated understanding of the therapeutic process and commitment to helping clients achieve treatment goals.
• Dedication to preventing further sexual victimization and ability to address difficult issues with challenging population.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes & assessments for forensic clients including screenings, interviews, etc.
• Provide forensically informed support services to individuals with mental illness or co-occurring disorders.
• Comprehensive case management with timely, compliant documentation.
• Maintain 60–65% direct clinical contact with therapy to forensic clients.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care while maintaining ethical standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the Clinical Director.
