Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience with mental health and/or substance use disorders; CBT training preferred
• Experience treating adults and/or juveniles with history of sexually abusive, DV or substance use behaviors
• Understanding of therapeutic process; commitment to helping clients achieve goals
• Dedication to preventing sexual victimization; ability to handle difficult issues
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to manage difficult client discussions
• Excellent organizational skills; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with peers, supervisors and external agencies
• Ability to work independently and in group settings
• Proven reliability and consistency in performance

Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes and assessments for forensic clients (screenings, interviews)
• Provide forensically informed support for individuals with mental illness or co‑occurring disorders
• Maintain comprehensive case management and compliant documentation
• Maintain 60–65% direct clinical contact with short/long‑term psychotherapy
• Deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based care while upholding ethical standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
• Demonstrate professionalism and reliability in clinical and administrative tasks
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally; leverage technology skills
