Job summary

HOPE Program and New Beginnings seeks qualified associate clinicians (AMFT, ACSW APCC) in its substance abuse and sex offender treatment program. The Forensic Clinical Associate conducts evaluations, leads sex offender-specific treatment, and provides forensically informed case management within a multidisciplinary team.

The role offers mentorship, professional development, and opportunities to enhance clinical skills in a fast-paced community forensic setting under supervision.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience with mental health and/or substance use disorders preferred.
• Experience with adults and/or juveniles with sexually abusive, DV or Substance Abuse histories.
• Understanding of therapeutic process and goal-oriented treatment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes and assessments for forensic clients.
• Provide forensically informed support for individuals with mental illness or co-occurring disorders.
• Maintain accurate, timely, compliant documentation per policy and standards.
• Provide 60–65% direct clinical contact with psychotherapy to forensic clients.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care while upholding ethics and professionalism.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
