Job summary

HOPE Program and New Beginnings seek qualified associate clinicians (AMFT, ACSW, APCC) in our substance abuse and sex offender treatment program. The Forensic Clinical Associate conducts forensic evaluations, provides forensically informed case management, and delivers evidence-based treatment within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders preferred.
• Experience providing treatment to adults and/or juveniles with sexually abusive, DV or Substance Abuse histories.
• California licensure or eligibility and CASOMB familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes & assessments for forensic clients including screenings and interviews.
• Provide forensically informed support services to individuals with mental illness or co-occurring disorders.
• Maintain accurate documentation per agency policies and standards (BBS, CASOMB, ATSA).
• Deliver short- and long-term psychotherapy with forensic clients while maintaining 60-65% direct clinical contact.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary treatment team and participate in mentorship and professional development.
