Job summary

MHMR is seeking a Forensic Case Manager to support individuals with mental illness in the Tarrant County Jail, coordinating referrals, reviewing clinical and criminal justice information, and ensuring timely access to psychiatric records and medications.

In this fast-paced role you will collaborate with jail staff and treatment providers to promote stability, recovery, and safety for vulnerable individuals during a challenging time. Strong attention to detail and compassion are essential.

Qualifications

• Defined Education: Mental Health or related field.
• Preferences: Two (2) years prior Case Management experience.
• Defined Experience: Mental Health or related field.
• License/Certifications: Valid Texas Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Assess referrals and intake when assigned.
• Gather and review clinical and criminal justice information.
• Coordinate psychiatric records and medication histories.
• Collaborate with jail staff and treatment providers to ensure timely access to services.
