Job summary

MHMR of Tarrant County is seeking a Forensic Case Manager to support individuals with mental illness who are incarcerated in the Tarrant County Jail. You will assess referrals, review clinical and criminal justice information, and coordinate records to ensure timely access to services.

This role requires attention to detail, compassion, and the ability to collaborate with jail staff and treatment providers to move clients toward stability and recovery.

Qualifications

• Defined Education: Mental Health or related field
• Preferences: Two (2) years prior Case Management experience
• Defined Experience: Mental Health or related field
• License/Certifications: Valid Texas Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Assess new referrals and review clinical and criminal justice information.
• Coordinate psychiatric records and medication histories.
• Work with jail staff and treatment providers to ensure timely access to services.
• Serve as a key link between criminal justice and behavioral health systems.
