Job summary

Robson Forensic seeks experts with a Ph.D. in an engineering discipline and who bring bioengineering/biomechanics experience to determine how and why injuries occurred from an engineering perspective. The role involves analyzing incidents, injuries, and medical-device failures, writing scientifically sound reports, and providing expert testimony.

Locations: Las Vegas, NV and Irving, TX (hybrid). Travel ~20% for training and fieldwork.

Qualifications

  • PhD in engineering required.
  • Bioengineering/biomechanics experience involving human body kinematics and kinetics or injury research.
  • Excellent technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Aptitude: translate complex findings into clear evidence for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Apply bioengineering and biomechanics to investigate incidents involving injuries/fatalities.
  • Analyze the technical and scientific aspects of incidents, injuries, and device failures.
  • Write clear, scientifically sound reports.
  • Provide expert testimony.
