Job summary

Robson Forensic, Inc. is seeking a seasoned engineer to join our team as a forensic expert. You are a P.E.

with 10+ years in manufacturing or end-user product design and the judgment to determine why incidents occurred. We provide training to become a forensic expert and support across multiple casework areas. Prior forensic experience is not required; we hire for deep industry knowledge and teach the rest.

Qualifications

• P.E. license active or E.I.T./F.E. with 4 years experience and ability to sit for the P.E. exam.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related field from ABET/EAC accredited school.
• 10+ years hands-on manufacturing/production experience including design, installation, start-up, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Expertise in design or specification of equipment, products, or processes.
• Familiarity with material handling systems and safety design of products.

Responsibilities

• Investigate manufacturing and end-user product incidents.
• Analyze safeguards, instructions, warnings, and foreseeable uses/misuses of products/equipment.
• Write clear, scientifically sound reports.
• Provide expert testimony.
