Rimkus Consulting Group in Philadelphia is seeking a Biomedical/Biomechanical Engineer to conduct human-injury analyses, reconstruct vehicular and mechanical failures, and prepare written findings for litigation. This full-time role blends forensic engineering with expert testimony, reporting to project leads in a hospital or clinical settings.

You will perform on-site vehicle examinations, review various records, and apply mathematical methods to determine injury causation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in biomedical or biomechanical engineering required.
• Ph.D. preferred or able to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Background in forensic engineering is a plus.
• Experience in anatomy or automotive contexts is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Performs human-injury impact analysis and reconstructs events.
• Prepares clear written reports of findings.
• Provides testimony in depositions and court.
• Conducts on-site vehicle examinations and site inspections.
• Reviews medical and investigative records to support conclusions.
• Applies mathematical and empirical methods to analyses.
