Job summary

Third Street Family Health Services is seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist assigned to Forensic Services to provide community-based behavioral health services, case management, and care coordination for justice-involved individuals.

You will help clients maintain stability, navigate resources, and address barriers affecting behavioral health under clinical supervision. A supportive, inclusive culture and strong staff resources accompany the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Meets Ohio Medicaid requirements for QMHS.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides community-based behavioral health interventions and supportive services.
• Engages clients and families in recovery-oriented, person-centered care.
• Supports clients in developing coping, independent living, and self-management skills.
• Coordinates care and referrals with internal and external providers.
• Assists clients with accessing community resources and services.
• Recognizes and responds appropriately to behavioral health crises.
• Completes required documentation and maintains compliance with applicable requirements.
• Works under clinical supervision and participates in required training and competency development.

Education
