Aperture LLC is currently interviewing for a Forensic Accident Reconstruction – Intern for our Southlake, Dallas, Rockwall, and Houston, Texas locations as well as our Bridgewater, Massachusetts location and Las Vegas, Nevada Location. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong interest in accident reconstruction and failure analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or working towards your Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong organizational skills and attitude to deliver results.
• Mathematically and technologically inclined with the ability to adapt to new environments or scenarios quickly.
• Ability to work remotely or while traveling to different job sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field investigations.
• Execute triangulation, coordinate, and total station field measuring in locating evidence and documenting scenes.
• Inspect sites, vehicles, and other evidence for forensic investigation.
• Report and collect evidence, including forensic photos and videos.
• Apply engineering principles per industry standards to investigation analysis.
• Produce written technical reports detailing observations and conclusions with strong written communication.
• Provide expert-level consultation to clients to assist with technical questions.
• Maintain technical knowledge through continuing education and professional involvement.
