Job summary

Aperture LLC is seeking a Forensic Accident Reconstruction – Intern for our Southlake, Dallas, Rockwall, and Houston, Texas locations as well as Bridgewater, MA and Las Vegas, NV. You will learn forensic consulting services and contribute to determining the origin and cause of complex incidents.

The internship includes field investigations, measurements, evidence handling, and producing written reports. Pursue a Mechanical or Civil Engineering degree; strong organization and adaptability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering; or working towards your Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong organizational skills and attitude to deliver results.
• Mathematically and technologically inclined with the ability to adapt to new environments or scenarios quickly.
• Ability to work remotely or while traveling to different job sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field investigations.
• Execute triangulation, coordinate, and total station field measuring in locating evidence and documenting scenes.
• Inspect sites, vehicles, and other evidence for forensic investigation.
• Report and collect evidence, including forensic photos and videos.
• Apply engineering principles per industry standards to investigation analysis.
• Produce written technical reports detailing and defending observations and conclusions.
• Provide expert-level consultation to clients.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering; or working towards your Bachelor’s degree
