Job summary

VCI Construction, LLC is seeking a Foreman for our Telecom Underground team in Los Angeles, CA. Lead crews, read blueprints, and ensure safety policies while meeting project timelines.

You will train crew members, coordinate with supervisors, and communicate with property owners. The role requires 18+, US work authorization, a valid license, and 3+ years of related experience; Foreman experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• A valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred.
• At least three years of related work experience.
• Previous Foreman experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Help with training of crew members.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Assist Supervisor with day to day activities.
• Speak with property owners about work to be performed and resolve any issues.
• Safely use heavy equipment and machinery.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse

The wage range for Foreman Underground is $25.00 - $34.00.
