Job summary

VCI Construction, LLC. is seeking a Foreman for our Telecom Underground team in field operations. You will lead crews to install and maintain underground telecom systems, ensure safety protocols, and keep projects on schedule.

You’ll read blueprints, train crew members, coordinate with the supervisor, and communicate with property owners to resolve issues. The role requires OSHA/DOT awareness and the ability to work in all weather, using heavy equipment when needed.

Qualifications

• Three years of related work experience.
• Foreman experience preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Must be 18+ and have a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Train crew members.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, OSHA and DOT.
• Assist supervisor with day-to-day activities.

What you’ll do

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Help with training of crew members
• Read and understand blueprints
• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations
• Assist Supervisor with day to day activities
• Speak with property owners about work to be performed and resolve any issues
• Safely use heavy equipment and machinery
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related work experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse

The wage range for Asphalt / Concrete Foreman is$22.00 - $34.00.
