Job summary

VCI Construction, LLC is seeking a Foreman for our Telecom Underground team in Los Angeles. You will lead crews, oversee installation and maintenance of underground telecom systems, and ensure safety and schedules are followed.

You’ll read blueprints, coordinate with supervisors, and communicate with property owners to resolve issues. The role requires strong leadership, hands-on supervision, and adherence to OSHA and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or combination of education and work experience preferred.
• At least three years of related work experience; Foreman experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Help with training of crew members.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Help ensure safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations are followed.
• Assist Supervisor with day-to-day activities.
• Speak with property owners about work and resolve issues.

What you’ll need

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse

The wage range for Foreman Underground is$25.00 - $34.00.
