Job summary

Rain for Rent in Joliet seeks a Foreman to instruct and train shop personnel and support yard operations to meet customer expectations for product, delivery, installation, and pickup. You will supervise staff, teach safe operation of tools, monitor quality, schedule personnel, and maintain equipment and consumables while keeping a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Minimum six months in a safety/industrial environment.
Minimum three years related work experience.
Must be able to follow safety rules and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

Assist with supervision of personnel, tools, equipment, safety and production.
Instructs department personnel in the safe operation of necessary tools and equipment.
Trains department personnel on how to fulfill their duties with safety, efficiency, and quality.
Inspects finished products to ensure quality control standards are met.
Assists Supervisor in maintaining equipment, scheduling personnel and consumables stock.
Maintains a high quantity while ensuring quality of all work in the department.
Upholds a safe, neat, and orderly working environment.
Follows company safety rules and wears PPE at all times.
