Job summary

Rain for Rent is seeking a Foreman to lead yard operations by guiding and training shop employees on a day-to-day basis, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in delivery, installation, and pickup.

The role emphasizes supervising personnel, instructing on safe tool operation, and coaching the team to perform tasks safely, faster, and with higher quality workmanship while upholding company safety rules and standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six months working in a safety/industrial environment.
• Minimum three years related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervision of personnel, tools, equipment, safety and production.
• Instructs department personnel in the safe operation of necessary tools and equipment.
• Trains department personnel on how to fulfill their duties including providing day-to-day instruction and guidance on how to perform the jobs more safely, easily, faster, and with better quality workmanship.
• Inspects finished products to assure quality control standards have been met.
• Assists Supervisor in maintaining equipment, scheduling personnel and maintaining consumables stock.
• Maintains and promotes a maximum quantity consistent with high quality of all work performed in department.
• Maintains a safety, neat and orderly working environment.
• Follows company safety rules and wears personal protective gear at all times.
