Job summary

Star Construction LLC seeks a Foreman for our Telecom Underground team. You will lead crews, read blueprints, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while meeting project timelines. This role requires coordination with the supervisor and communication with property owners.

Responsibilities include training crew members, operating heavy equipment when needed, and performing duties in all weather conditions, with a focus on OSHA and DOT safety standards. Experience as a foreman is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent plus work experience.
• At least three years of related work experience.
• Foreman experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines and objectives.
• Assist with training of crew members.
• Read and understand blueprints for telecom underground work.
• Ensure safety policies, OSHA and DOT regulations are followed.
• Assist Supervisor with day-to-day activities.
• Communicate with property owners to discuss work and resolve issues.
• Safely operate heavy equipment and machinery as needed.
• Perform duties in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company

• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related work experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard, and mouse
