Job summary

Globe Communications LLC is seeking a Foreman for the Telecom Underground team located in Jasper, Georgia. In this role, you will lead crews in installing and maintaining underground telecommunication systems while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project timelines.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience leading projects and teams, a valid driver's license with Class A CDL, and at least three years of relevant work experience. Job description

At Globe Communications, LLC, as a Foreman on our Telecom Underground team, you’ll lead crews in the installation and maintenance of underground telecommunication systems. You’ll ensure everyone follows safety protocols and project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Help train crew members
• Read and understand blueprints
• Ensure all employees follow company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations
• Assist Supervisor with day‑to‑day activities
• Speak with property owners about work to be performed and resolve any issues
• Safely use heavy equipment and machinery
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license with Class A CDL
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience (preferred)
• At least three years of related work experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely work alone in remote locations and confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally use ladder, keyboard and mouse
