Job summary

Ervin Cable Construction, LLC is seeking a Foreman for the Telecom Underground team. You will lead crews, read blueprints, train crew members, and ensure safety and project timelines across underground telecom installations.

The role requires at least three years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and authorization to work in the U.S. Travel may be required. We offer comprehensive benefits and room to grow with the company.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Help with training of crew members.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Help ensure safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Assist Supervisor with day-to-day activities.
• Speak with property owners about work and resolve issues.
• Safely operate heavy equipment and machinery.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do

• Lead crews to meet project timelines

• Help with training of crew members

• Read and understand blueprints

• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations

• Assist Supervisor with day to day activities

• Speak with property owners about work to be performed and resolve any issues

• Safely use heavy equipment and machinery

• Perform work in all weather conditions

• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older

• Authorization to work in the United States for this company

• A valid driver’s license

• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred

• At least three years of related work experience

• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely : work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds

• Occasionally : use ladder, keyboard and mouse
