Job summary

Ervin Cable Construction, LLC is seeking a Foreman on our Telecom Underground team to lead crews in installing and maintaining underground telecommunication systems. You will ensure safety, adherence to project timelines, and effective communication with property owners.

This on-site role requires a valid driver's license, 3+ years of related experience, and a high school diploma or GED. Previous Foreman experience is preferred; we offer competitive pay and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
• At least three years of related work experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Previous Foreman experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Help with training of crew members.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Ensure everyone follows company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Assist Supervisor with day to day activities.
• Speak with property owners about work to be performed and resolve issues.
• Safely use heavy equipment and machinery.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related work experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
