Job summary

C-2 Utility Contractors, LLC in Salem, OR seeks an Equipment Foreman for our Telecom Construction team. You’ll oversee crews, operate and maintain heavy equipment, and ensure safety and productivity to meet project timelines.

You’ll train crew members, manage DOT paperwork, and uphold OSHA and company safety policies while coordinating with Supervisors. The role offers competitive weekly pay, PTO, holidays, 401(k) with company match, stock purchase plan, education reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

• At least three years of related experience.
• Previous Foreman experience preferred.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred.
• A valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Safely operate and control assigned equipment
• Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day activities and provide updates as needed
• Oversee and help with training of crew members
• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations
• Maintain production notes & DOT paperwork
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery, complete maintenance
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• All other duties as assigned

What you’ll do

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, work at heights & in confined spaces, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
