Job summary

Ervin Cable Construction, LLC is seeking an Equipment Foreman for our Telecom Construction team in Gadsden, AL. You will lead crews, coordinate daily activities, and ensure projects stay on schedule while managing equipment and materials for a safe, productive site.

The role requires at least three years of related experience, US work authorization, and a valid driver's license; Foreman experience is preferred. We offer competitive pay, weekly paychecks, and a benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Safely operate and control assigned equipment.
• Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day activities and provide updates.
• Oversee and help with training of crew members.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Maintain production notes and DOT paperwork.
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery and perform maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.

What You’ll Do

• Lead crews to meet project timelines

• Maintain production notes & DOT paperwork
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery, complete maintenance
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• All other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver's license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, work at heights & in confined spaces, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
