Job summary

C-2 Utility Contractors, LLC is seeking an Equipment Foreman to lead a Telecom Construction crew, oversee heavy equipment operation, and ensure projects stay on schedule.

You will collaborate with supervision, train crew members, enforce safety policies, complete DOT paperwork, and work in all weather conditions. Candidates should have at least three years of related experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent and relevant work experience.
• At least three years of related experience; Foreman experience preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for this company.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Safely operate and control assigned equipment.
• Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day activities and provide updates as needed.
• Oversee and help with training of crew members.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Maintain production notes and DOT paperwork.
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery and perform maintenance.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• All other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, work at heights & in confined spaces, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
