Job summary

Ervin Cable Construction, LLC is seeking a Telecom Aerial Foreman to oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of telecom systems. You will ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, serving as on-site expert and guiding less experienced team members.

You will lead daily operations, document productivity and safety, and be ready to travel for storm responses at short notice. The role requires 3+ years of related experience and the ability to obtain the necessary certifications and

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver license (not provisional) with acceptable driving record.
• Must pass a DOT physical exam with a valid medical card.
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Certified pole climber or willing to become certified.
• CDL Class A driver license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or supports per codes and customer requirements.
• Maintain safe work areas and ensure smooth traffic flow on site.
• Work safely at heights using climbing hooks and ladders.
• Safely use hand tools and power tools (wrenches, drills, saws).
• Provide guidance and support to team members as needed.
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice.
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks documenting productivity and safety.

What you’ll do

• Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to relevant codes, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Ensure work areas are safe and that traffic flows smoothly while on the job
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders
• Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks to document productivity and safety compliance
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
• At least 3 years of related work experience
• To be a certified pole climber or be willing to become certified
• CDL Class “A” driver license is preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level, at heights in confined spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, use ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift objects greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use keyboard and mouse

The wage range for Foreman Telecom Aerial is$15.00 - $25.00.
