Job summary

Lambert's Cable is seeking an on-site Telecom Aerial Foreman to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will guide less experienced crew members and serve as the on-site expert.

You’ll travel for storm response as needed and manage daily work orders to document productivity and safety. This role demands hands-on leadership in field operations with a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalenta, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Must pass DOT physical exam and obtain a valid medical card.
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Pole climber certification or willingness to obtain it.
• CDL Class A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures per codes, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Ensure work areas are safe and traffic flows smoothly while on the job.
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders.
• Safely use hand tools and power tools (wrenches, drills, saws).
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed.
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice.
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks to document productivity and safety compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need

• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
• At least 3 years of related work experience
• To be a certified pole climber or be willing to become certified
• CDL Class "A" driver license is preferred
