Job summary

Fiber Technologies Solutions, LLC is hiring a Telecom Aerial Foreman to lead on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial fiber systems. You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality workmanship while guiding junior crew members.

The role requires at least 3 years of related experience, a valid US driver’s license, and DOT medical certification. CDL-A is preferred; willing to become certified is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Pass DOT physical exam and obtain a valid medical card.
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified.
• CDL Class A license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems per codes and customer needs.
• Safely operate equipment such as bucket trucks and digger derricks.
• Maintain safe work areas and ensure smooth traffic flow on site.
• Work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders; use hand and power tools.
• Provide guidance to crew members and support team as needed.
• Travel for storm response on short notice when required.
• Complete daily work orders and safety checks to document productivity.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to relevant codes, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Safely use equipment like bucket truck, digger derrick, excavators
• Ensure work areas are safe and that traffic flows smoothly while on the job
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders
• Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks to document productivity and safety compliance
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
• At least 3 years of related work experience
• To be a certified pole climber or be willing to become certified
• CDL Class “A” driver license is preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level, at heights in confined spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, use ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift objects greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use keyboard and mouse
