Job summary

Lambert's Cable Splicing Company, LLC is seeking a Telecom Aerial Foreman to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems. You will lead on-site crews, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and provide guidance to junior team members in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires hands-on use of bucket trucks, digger derricks, and excavators, with travel for storm response on short notice as needed.

Qualifications

• To be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver's license (not Provisional) with acceptable driving record.
• Must pass a DOT physical exam for a valid medical card.
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified.
• CDL Class A driver license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on-site.
• Serve as on-site expert and guide less experienced team members.
• Safely operate equipment such as bucket trucks and excavators.
• Guide traffic flow and maintain safe work areas.
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks.
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do

• Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to relevant codes, regulations, and customer requirements.

• Safely use equipment like bucket truck, digger derrick, excavators

• Ensure work areas are safe and that traffic flows smoothly while on the job

• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders

• Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws

• Provide guidance and support to others as needed

• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice

• Complete daily work orders and crew checks to document productivity and safety compliance

• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older

• Authorization to work in the United States for this company

• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience

• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record

• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card

• At least 3 years of related work experience

• To be a certified pole climber or be willing to become certified

• CDL Class “A” driver license is preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely : work with arms above shoulder level, at heights in confined spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, use ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift objects greater than 55 pounds

• Occasionally : use keyboard and mouse
