Job summary

Lambert's Cable Splicing Co. is seeking a Telecom Aerial Foreman to oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems on site. You will guide less experienced team members, ensure safety, and comply with regulations on every job.

The role requires climbing, operating bucket trucks, and working at heights. Travel for storm response may be needed, and a valid CDL A is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• US work authorization for this company.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Must pass a DOT physical exam (medical card).
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified.
• CDL Class A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation of fiber/telecom cables and supporting structures per codes and customer needs.
• Safely operate bucket truck, digger derrick, and excavators.
• Keep work areas safe and ensure smooth traffic flow on site.
• Climb safely using hooks and ladders; use hand/power tools.
• Provide guidance to crew and support to teammates.
• Travel for storm response on short notice.
• Complete daily work orders and safety checks.
• Other duties as assigned.

At Lambert's Cable, as a Telecom Aerial Foreman, you'll oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You'll serve as the on-site expert, offering guidance and support to less experienced team members.

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to relevant codes, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Safely use equipment such as bucket truck, digger derrick, excavators.
• Ensure work areas are safe and that traffic flows smoothly while on the job.
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders.
• Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws.
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed.
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice.
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks to document productivity and safety compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be provisional) with an acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card.
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified.
• CDL Class “A” driver license is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Work with arms above shoulder level, at heights in confined spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, use ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift objects greater than 55 pounds.
• Occasionally use keyboard and mouse.
