Job summary

Lambert's Cable Splicing Company, LLC seeks a Telecom Aerial Foreman to oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You’ll be the on-site expert guiding and supporting crew members.

You’ll lead wiring and installation of fiber/telecom cables and support structures, operate bucket truck and heavy equipment, and stay compliant with codes while managing daily work orders and safety checks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Pass DOT physical exam and obtain a valid medical card
• At least 3 years of related work experience
• Pole climber certification or willingness to become certified
• CDL Class A driver license preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to codes and customer requirements
• Safely use equipment like bucket truck, digger derrick, excavators
• Ensure work areas are safe and traffic flows smoothly while on the job
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders
• Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks to document productivity and safety compliance
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older

• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card

• At least 3 years of related work experience

• To be a certified pole climber or be willing to become certified

• CDL Class “A” driver license is preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely : work with arms above shoulder level, at heights in confined spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, use ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift objects greater than 55 pounds

• Occasionally : use keyboard and mouse
