Job summary

Jackson County Parks + Rec seeks a dedicated operations supervisor to ensure the smooth running and maintenance of division projects. You will oversee daily operations, manage staff and equipment, and recommend materials while estimating costs as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma, five years in a related field with supervisory experience, and CDL with air brake endorsements (Class B within six months; Class A with HAZMAT if applicable).

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of related experience, with 1–2 years in supervision.
• Must obtain Class B CDL with Air Brake within six months.
• Class A CDL with Air Brake and HAZMAT (or ability to obtain) within six months, where applicable.
