Johnson Service Company, a division of Midlands Contracting, Inc., seeks a Foreman to join our construction team. This role covers Eastern Nebraska with frequent out-of-town travel, requiring a CDL and leadership of a two-person crew.

You will oversee pipeline cleaning/televising projects, coordinate with city engineers, and ensure safety and timely delivery. We offer year-round employment, hotel accommodations, per diem meals, company-provided pickup truck, and cell phone.

Qualifications

• CDL required (or ability/intent to obtain)
• Previous supervisory or management experience required
• Ability to lead and manage a two-person crew
• Capable of managing projects and communicating with city employees/engineers
• Experience in pipeline cleaning/televising preferred but training provided
• Ability to troubleshoot and manage difficult situations encountered during cleaning/televising operations
• Operate pipeline observation computer system (training provided)
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Experience with operation/maintenance of combo trucks for jetting/vacuuming pipelines
• Responsible for tracking daily manhours and production quantities
• Document performance feedback clearly and professionally
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with heavier loads
• Able to stand/walk/kneel/crawl for extended periods
• Must pass post-offer/pre-employment drug screen
• Authorized to work in the United States

This position is based throughout Eastern Nebraska, and you can live anywhere in the region. We are looking for an individual with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, dependability, and a willingness to travel.

Job Details

• Salary: $85,000 - $150,000 (based on experience)
• Hours: 50+ hours per week (no weekends)
• Travel: Most projects require being out of town Monday-Friday (home on weekends)
• Hotel accommodations provided by the company
• Nightly per diem for meals while working out of town
• Company-provided pickup truck and cell phone
• Year-round employment—no winter layoffs

Requirements

• Class A or B CDL required (or the ability and desire to obtain one)
• Previous supervisory or management experience required
• Ability to lead and manage a two-person crew effectively
• Capable of managing projects, including communication with city employees and engineers while maintaining professionalism
