Job summary

Bigham Cable Construction is seeking an Equipment Foreman for our Telecom Construction team. This hands-on, outdoor role involves leading crews, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring projects stay on schedule while maintaining safety standards.

You will oversee equipment/materiel, support the supervisor, and help train crew members. Must be able to work in all weather, have at least three years of related experience, and possess a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Three years of related experience required.
• Previous Foreman experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent education/work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Safely operate and control assigned equipment.
• Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day activities and provide updates.
• Oversee and help with training of crew members.
• Help ensure safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations are followed.
• Maintain production notes & DOT paperwork.
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery, perform maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• All other duties as assigned.

Must be comfortable performing hands-on, physically demanding work in an outdoor field environment. At Bigham Cable Construction, Inc., as a Equipment Foreman on our Telecom Construction team, you'll oversee crews, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and on schedule. What You’ll Do

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, work at heights & in confined spaces, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
