Bigham Cable Construction, Inc. is hiring a Laborer II for the Telecom Underground team in the United States.

The role focuses on advanced underground construction tasks, operating specialized equipment, and maintaining safety and efficiency on site. You will perform loading, delivery, excavation, and installation of underground telecom cables, while collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet project goals and deadlines.

Competenze

• 18+ years of age requirement.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license (not provisional) with an acceptable driving record.
• 2+ years of experience operating construction equipment or performing similar tasks.
• Ability to work independently and in team environments.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and extended hours as needed.
• Ability to work safely in all weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills and proactive problem-solving approach.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Need

• At least 18 years of age
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• 2+ years of experience operating construction equipment, utility trucks, or performing similar tasks
• Strong ability to work independently and contribute in team environments
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and extended hours as needed
• Ability to work safely in all weather conditions
• Effective communication skills and a proactive problem-solving approach

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and confined spaces with arms above shoulder level. Operate vehicles and heavy machinery. Perform tasks requiring fine hand motion, bending, stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard, and mouse
