Job Title: Foreman

Join Riggs Industries, Inc. as a Foreman. We are seeking a qualified candidate to supervise production personnel, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and team development.

Responsibilities:
  1. Model company values including safety, quality, dependability, integrity, and adaptability.
  2. Assign work based on priority, equipment, and skills.
  3. Monitor safety conditions and enforce safety rules.
  4. Conduct labor balancing and monitor work performance.
  5. Ensure quality standards are met.
  6. Train and coach team members on systems, tools, and processes.
  7. Interpret specifications and blueprints to provide clear guidance.
  8. Support shared goals through collaboration with departments.
  9. Counsel employees and conduct on-the-job training and corrective actions.
  10. Participate in continuous improvement projects.
  11. Comply with ISO 9001 QMS and safety protocols.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Supervise 5-15 employees, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and discipline. Assist the Operations Manager as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • At least 5 years of related experience or training.
  • Lean manufacturing and supervisor training preferred.
