Job summary

Roskam Foods is a Grand Rapids-based contract manufacturer seeking a plant supervisor to lead operations, coach teams, and ensure timely production of frozen, refrigerated and shelf-stable products.

You will oversee packaging lines, maintain hygiene and safety standards, manage inventory data, and drive quality checks across shifts in a U.S. manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience leading operations teams in a manufacturing plant.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Train and coach employees to ensure optimal performance and adherence to company standards.
  • Manage the production schedule to meet deadlines and production goals.
  • Set up, operate, and tend to equipment that packages food products and address rework from malfunctions.
  • Clean and sterilize equipment and processing areas to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Maintain inventory management software for accurate tracking of materials.
  • Record production data during quality checks to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
