Job summary

Roskam Foods is seeking a Foreman at our Grand Rapids, MI manufacturing sites to lead day-to-day production operations and coach teams.

You will set production schedules, monitor equipment, ensure quality, and maintain safety and housekeeping standards, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience leading operations teams in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and professionalism are essential.
• Experience with food service/manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach employees.
• Manage the production schedule.
• Set up, operate, and tend to equipment that packages food products and process rework from equipment issues.
• Clean and sterilize equipment and factory processing areas.
• Maintain inventory management software.
• Record production data during quality checks.
• Observe, receive, scan and obtain information from relevant sources.

We currently have Foreman positions available at our locations throughout Grand Rapids.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach employees
• Manage the production schedule
• Set up, operate, and tend to equipment that packages food products and process any rework that may result from equipment malfunction
• Clean and sterilize equipment and factory processing areas
• Inventory management software maintenance
• Record production data during quality checks
• Observe, receive, scan, data base entries and obtain information from all relevant sources

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma and/or equivalent experience
• Experience leading operations teams in a manufacturing plant
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Professionalism and a passion for leadership
• Experience with food service/manufacturing is a plus
