Job summary

Synectic Solutions, Inc. (SSI) is seeking a seasoned professional to support contingent workforce initiatives for Foreign Military Sales case activities and related program actions.

The role involves coordinating with government, military, and contractor stakeholders to prepare, review, and track FMS documentation, briefs, and reports. Ideal candidates bring a SECRET clearance, a Bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years of relevant experience (or MA/MS in a related field) and 10+ years in similar duties,

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance with Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• 10+ years of experience performing duties similar to the functional description.
• Senior-level experience supporting DoW, Department of the Navy, or comparable international acquisition, financial, logistics, or program management activities.
• Ability to work effectively with government, military, and contractor stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare professional briefs, reports, and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and execution of Foreign Military Sales case activities and related program actions.
• Assist with preparation, review, and tracking of FMS case documentation, program status materials, briefings, and reports.
• Coordinate with program management, financial management, logistics, contracts, technical, and international program stakeholders.
• Track FMS actions, suspense dates, case milestones, funding status, deliverables, and meeting outcomes.
• Analyze program, schedule, financial, and logistics information to support case execution and leadership decision-making.
• Support partner-nation meetings, program management reviews, working groups, and action-item closure.
• Prepare clear written products including point papers, meeting minutes, correspondence, data-call responses, and status reports.
• Maintain awareness of FMS policy, financial processes, export-related coordination requirements, and case execution procedures.
• Support coordination of requirements, deliveries, sustainment planning, and program risks associated with international customers.
• Help ensure FMS products are accurate, timely, and aligned with program objectives and government direction.
• On-site support may be required at government or contractor facilities.
• Frequent coordination with government customers, contractor teammates, and cross-functional technical and business teams.
• Work products may include program documentation, briefings, reports, schedules, financial inputs, action item trackers, and meeting support materials.

Required Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience performing duties similar to the functional description.
• Senior-level experience supporting DoW, Department of the Navy, or comparable international acquisition, financial, logistics, or program management activities.
• Ability to work effectively with government, military, and contractor stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare professional briefs, reports, and correspondence.

Education Substitution

• Associate’s degree plus four additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a master’s degree.
• Six additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a master’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with FMS case development, case execution, financial tracking, or international program support.
• Familiarity with DSAMS, MISIL, Navy ERP, or similar DoW systems.
• Experience supporting aviation, weapons, mission systems, sustainment, or logistics programs.

Work Environment

• This position supports a Department of War aviation acquisition program and may require on-site support at a government or contractor facility.
• The role requires frequent coordination with government customers, contractor teammates, and cross-functional technical and business teams.
• Work products may include program documentation, briefings, reports, schedules, financial inputs, action item trackers, and meeting support materials.
