Job summary

Synectic Solutions, Inc. (SSI) is seeking a seasoned program analyst to support contingent workforce initiatives and DoD aviation acquisition programs. The role involves analyzing program objectives, requirements, risks, and status, and coordinating with government and contractor stakeholders.

You will prepare briefs and reports, track schedules and action items, and support program reviews and leadership updates. A strong analytical writer with deep DoD experience is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree plus two additional years of relevant experience or MS Degree and Active Secret security clearance.
  • Over 10 years of experience performing duties similar to the functional description.
  • 5 years of experience supporting Naval aviation or comparable DoW acquisition programs.
  • Ability to work effectively with government, military, and contractor stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare professional briefs, reports, and correspondence.

Responsibilities

  • Apply analytical techniques to evaluate program and project objectives, requirements, risks, and execution status.
  • Analyze requirements, program status, budget information, schedules, and related performance data.
  • Perform management, technical, or business case analyses to support program decisions.
  • Collect, complete, organize, and interpret data related to aircraft, weapon, mission-system, acquisition, or product support programs.
  • Track program and project status, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and action items.
  • Prepare briefs, reports, meeting materials, data-call responses, point papers, and correspondence.
  • Support program reviews, working groups, coordination meetings, and leadership updates.
  • Apply government-established processes for documentation, change-control management, and data management.
  • Coordinate with program management, acquisition, financial, logistics, engineering, and technical stakeholders.
  • Maintain tracking products and provide clear, timely analysis to support government decision-making.

  • Associate’s degree plus four additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a master’s degree.
  • Six additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a master’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting aircraft, weapons, mission systems, acquisition, sustainment, or product support programs.
  • Experience preparing program review materials and tracking action items, schedules, risks, and deliverables.
  • Strong analytical writing, data organization, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Work Environment
  • This position supports a Department of War aviation acquisition program and may require on-site support at a government or contractor facility.
  • The role requires frequent coordination with government customers, contractor teammates, and cross-functional technical and business teams.
  • Work products may include program documentation, briefings, reports, schedules, financial inputs, action item trackers, and meeting support materials.
