Job summary

Credence in Washington, DC seeks a Program Design Support Specialist III to support foreign assistance programs across NEA. You will coordinate with embassies, interagency partners, and contractors to design, implement, and evaluate initiatives that advance U.S. policy and compliance with federal rules.

The role emphasizes analytical capabilities, grants and contracting coordination, and strong communication skills in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment with a Secret clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• MA/MS and 0 or more years of relevant work experience (preferred 1+ year).
• BA/BS and 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• High school diploma and 6+ years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of USG foreign policy, preferably as relates to foreign assistance or other types of federal government programming.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with implementing partners to support management of foreign assistance projects.
• Participate in program coordination, design, and management with NEA regional offices and other bureaus.
• Identify and develop strategies to implement assigned projects.
• Evaluate effectiveness and recommend improvements to meet policy goals.
• Contribute to briefings and prepare memos, checklists, and talking points.
• Support drafting and review of solicitations for funding and proposals.
• Review performance reports with program officers and ensure accurate data in AC databases.
• Share information with Department and interagency officials and counterparts.
