Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Respond to client inquiries and provide counseling on foreclosure processes.
  • Enter information accurately into the case management system and databases.
  • Review files for compliance with foreclosure procedures and timelines.
  • Support foreclosure sale reporting and document uploading per client directives.
  • Coordinate with litigation, client services, and other teams as needed.
  • Receive and direct inbound calls from borrowers, investors, and clients.

Job description

Summary/Objective

Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of foreclosure proceedings, including, but not limited to: responding to client inquiries, providing counseling to clients regarding the non-judicial foreclosure process, entering information into the computer system, escalating issues found within the firm.

Essential Functions
  • Provides timely and accurate responses to client inquiries and internal requests/instructions regarding loan status or other applicable request. 2. Provides recommendation to client regarding the non-judicial foreclosure process relating to proper notice, Federal Fair Debt guidelines, investor regulations, and loan chronologies for clients to respond to investor timeline issues.
  • Review files in order to ensure compliance with the Foreclosure process prior to posting.
  • Ensures all required information is properly entered into the case management system and into the appropriate databases/client systems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Management of GSE portfolio and system updates as required by FNMA/FHLMC.
  • Reviews files and/or circumstances with the files to determine the appropriate request for assistance from the litigation area and other related areas in the firm.
  • Responsible for assisting with foreclosure sale reporting.
  • Assists in uploading all supporting documentation to the Clients as required by the Client Directives
  • Performs all other duties as requested and assists as needed with any other Client Service related duties including various project.
  • Receive and direct in-bound phone calls from borrowers, investors, and clients.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum four years mortgage banking experience a plus.
  • Strong communication etiquette (verbal and written).
  • Able work independently with little to no direction from management as well as be part of a team.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize based upon urgency.
