  • Experience using mortgage servicing systems and foreclosure management platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high-volume portfolio of foreclosure loans from referral through resolution.
  • Review loan files and foreclosure documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with investor guidelines, company policies, and applicable regulations.
  • Monitor judicial and non-judicial foreclosure timelines to ensure milestones are met.
  • Coordinate with foreclosure attorneys, title companies, property preservation vendors, and other third-party partners to resolve issues and maintain case progression.
  • Identify title defects, documentation deficiencies, and other obstacles that may delay foreclosure proceedings, and coordinate timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records and update servicing systems with case activity, documentation status, and required actions.
  • Audit foreclosure documentation for compliance with federal regulations, investor requirements, and state foreclosure laws.
  • Research and resolve complex foreclosure issues, escalating legal or operational concerns as appropriate.
  • Communicate effectively with internal business partners, attorneys, vendors, and other stakeholders regarding case status and required actions.
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness and reduce risk.

Job description

Dyck O'Neal is seeking a Foreclosure Specialist to manage a high-volume portfolio of complex delinquent mortgage loans throughout the foreclosure lifecycle. This position is responsible for coordinating with foreclosure attorneys, property preservation vendors, and internal departments to ensure cases progress in accordance with investor guidelines, company policies, and applicable federal and state regulations.

The Foreclosure Specialist II independently manages complex foreclosure matters, including title issues, contested cases, and regulatory compliance, while maintaining accurate documentation and meeting critical foreclosure milestones.

Duties and Responsibilities

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and mortgage servicing experience will be considered.

Required
  • 3–5 years of mortgage default servicing experience with direct foreclosure responsibilities.
  • Minimum one year of experience managing the complete foreclosure lifecycle from referral through resolution.

Preferred
  • Experience resolving complex title issues and contested foreclosure matters.

  • Experience working with GSE, FHA, VA, USDA, or private investor foreclosure requirements.
  • Experience managing relationships with foreclosure counsel and third-party vendors.
  • Knowledge of FICS or comparable mortgage servicing software.
