Job Overview

A well-established law firm specializing in financial services and real estate litigation is seeking a Foreclosure Litigation Attorney. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience and a deep understanding of contested mortgage foreclosure actions. This is a remote position offering flexibility for attorneys licensed in Florida who wish to handle complex litigation matters from strategy through resolution.

Location

Remote (Florida license required)

Duties

• Review and analyze contested mortgage foreclosure cases
• Develop litigation strategies to resolve disputes through judgment, court action, or settlement
• Provide legal counsel regarding ongoing litigation and strategic outcomes
• Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials
• Oversee and approve client invoicing and follow up on payments

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of legal practice
• At least 3 years of litigation experience, specifically in foreclosure or foreclosure litigation
• Experience conducting at least one trial or evidentiary hearing with witness testimony preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage high-volume caseloads remotely

Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active member of the Florida Bar
• Admission to the U.S. District Court in Florida is a plus

• Strong knowledge of foreclosure litigation procedures and legal principles
