Key Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of foreclosure litigation, including drafting and filing pleadings in state and federal court.
• Manage discovery, including written discovery, document production, and ESI protocols.
• Draft motions, oppositions, and memoranda on foreclosure and real property litigation issues.
• Attend conferences, hearings, and courtroom appearances with minimal supervision.
• Support and coordinate with partners and senior attorneys on strategy and case management.
• Liaise with clients and third parties on case status, deadlines, and administrative matters.
• Maintain accurate case and calendar management for multiple active matters.

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing.
• 3+ years of litigation experience preferred, with exposure to real property or related civil litigation.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Familiarity with New York foreclosure procedures, real estate litigation, and creditors’ rights a strong plus.
• Comfort handling court filings, motion practice, and appearances.
• Ability to manage a robust docket of active cases with attention to detail and responsiveness.
