Job summary

FirstEnergy is seeking a Supervisor, Forecasting to lead a team of financial analysts responsible for detailed forecasting of the Transmission portfolio. You will oversee accruals, variance analysis, and in-service planning, coordinating with Project Managers and stakeholders.

The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years of experience in forecasting, and proficiency with FE systems such as SAP and PowerPlan. Work location will be determined by business needs and the selected candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Prior leadership or project lead experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching, and development for a team of financial analysts.
• Ensure accurate, timely project forecasting, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Lead monthly financial review and close-out discussions with Project Managers.
• Ensure forecasts are accurately reflected in forecasting systems and reports.
• Develop and improve analysis and forecasting tools for stakeholders.
