Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Tech, Finance or equivalent preferred or related degree; or 5+ years related experience.
• Minimum 10 years of Program Manager or equivalent experience; higher level role if more senior.
• Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks across projects.
• Knowledge of FE safety practices and design/construction standards.
• Willingness to travel to various company locations, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Developing and managing transmission line maintenance programs to ensure reliability.
• Developing program documents, specifications, and pre-bid meetings with bidders.
• Coordinating with Supply Chain to bid work and award contracts.
• Reviewing budgets and ensuring funds exist to support planned work.
• Providing program status and addressing issues for resolution with management.
• Overseeing consultants and contractors for safety and quality assurance.
• Tracking project schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Supporting emergency transmission line restorations and outages.
• Communicating goals and updates to OPCO and management teams.
