2nd Swing is a forward-thinking, customer-centric golf retailer with a strong emphasis on inventory optimization and data-driven decisions. The Inventory Analyst role sits at the intersection of analytics, pricing strategy, and inventory movement across new and used goods.

You will influence what we buy, how we price, and where we sell, while partnering with Buyers and cross-functional teams to maximize turnover and margin.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in inventory forecast and demand planning or similar analytical role.
• Experience with multi-channel inventory across stores and e-commerce.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP/business intelligence systems.
• Knowledge of inventory metrics: sell-through, aging, turnover, margin, stock levels.
• Familiarity with AI to optimize inventory processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead forecast and demand planning for inventory.
• Analyze levels, aging, turnover, sell-through, margin, and demand across categories.
• Monitor market pricing and comps; recommend pricing, promotions, and transfers.
• Execute pricing changes, markdowns, and inventory movements; measure impact.
• Inform acquisition values and future purchasing decisions from data.
• Collaborate with Buyers on quantities, product mix, timing, and depth.
• Identify overstock and aging inventory to improve productivity.
• Maintain reporting on turnover, sell-through, margin, aging, and stock accuracy.
• Work with Buying, E‑commerce, Store, and Operations to optimize inventory across locations.
• Translate data into actionable recommendations on trends and category shifts.
